Loisaba Tented Camp, Kenya is glamping to the extreme. With only twelve extremely spacious ensuite tents, all on a cliff making for breath-taking views, and two large swimming pools, you'll often feel like you have the entire camp to yourself. We enjoyed the tent furthest from the dining area, and closest to the second pool, and never saw another guest there during our entire stay. The tent decor feels like a mix of African luxury and mid-century modern, which I loved. Practice yoga and get massages on your verandah. Take safari drives where you can see a type of giraffe and zebra unique to the area and only a few other parts of Africa. After your safari drives, enjoy cocktails or a nice selection of wine at the camp's bar, followed by a filling dinner of authentic cuisine. Surely take some time for star gazing before you retire to your tent, where you will find a heated water pack under the sheets to warm your toes! Don't say you're not a camper until you've tried it this way!
